Schedule Service
NMR Scheduling
We allocate NMR time equitably so all researchers can collect data in a reasonable amount of time. Email your request for NMR time one week in advance to David Jones, PhD, NMR Core Director. Include the following information in your email:
- Amount of time needed. Time is generally allocated in one-day slots, although you may request shorter periods.
- Experiments you will run
- Types of samples you will use
- Special considerations, such as "Sample is stable for only 3 days"
You will receive an email confirming your scheduled time.
Be considerate:
- If you can't use your allocated time, please contact David Jones so he can rebook the time with another user
- Users who have booked NMR time have priority. If the machine appears vacant, do not use it unless you have spoken directly to the scheduled user. Voicemail an/or email is not acceptable.
- If you use vacant time, please email David Jones so we can record your usage.
