Karl Lewis, MD, interviewed with KCNC-TV CH 4 (CBS) about melanoma awareness and a patient of the University of Colorado Cancer Center who was diagnosed with Stage IV melanoma three years ago. Due to treatments and care at the cancer center, she is still alive today. The patient started an annual fundraising/awareness campaign at a local salon that coincides with Melanoma Monday, a national day of awareness. All proceeds are donated to UCCC for melanoma research.
