SOM Dean seeks exhibits for 125th Anniversary Gala
Dean of the UC Denver School of Medicine is looking for creative interactive exhibits for the 125th Anniversary Gala. Lisa Stanford in the Dean's Office is hosting an exhibit consultant July 22 from 8 am to 12 pm in Academic Office 1, Room 4104, to answer design suggestions and logistical support for these exhibits. It would be great to have several cancer-related exhibits at the event. At the last anniversary gala, Bryan Haugen, MD, and the thyroid team were giving free thyroid checks when they discovered that the son of a faculty member had a nodule. Then a teenager, he has since recovered from thyroid cancer. That's what I call an interactive exhibit. You can find out more from Lisa, lisa.stanford@ucdenver.edu.
