SpyGlass™ Direct Visualization System
SpyGlass is a new device designed to overcome the imaging limitations of conventional ERCP (Endoscopic Retrograde Cholangiopancreatography). It was developed by Lead Investigator Yang K. Chen, M.D., one of our team of GI/Gastroenterology doctors.
ERCP is a specialized endoscopic procedure that is performed with fluoroscopy and contrast injection to examine and treat diseases of the bile ducts and pancreas. It is used to:
- Remove gallstones
- Open obstructed bile ducts
- Perform biopsies in suspected tumors
