The University of Colorado Cancer Center is the Rocky Mountain region's only National Cancer Institute designated Comprehensive Cancer Center, recognized for its committment to research, clinical services, prevention and control.

Affiliations, Accreditations, and Designations
LIVESTRONG™ Survivorship Center of Excellence Network
The University of Colorado Cancer Center is a member of the LIVESTRONG™ Survivorship Center of Excellence Network - one of eight centers in the country. Our Cancer Survivorship Program brings resources, support, and information to cancer survivors in Colorado and the Rocky Mountain Region. In addition, we conduct research to further our knowledge of the issues facing cancer survivors. The goal is to provide better care throughout the entire cancer experience, from diagnosis to treatment and beyond.
American Cancer Society
The Cancer Center has partnered with the American Cancer Society to provide a Cancer Resource Navigator to assist our patients. The Navigator is able to assist patients and family by helping them utilize the many resources needed throughout their experience with cancer. The Navigator connects patients with information, resources, and referrals from the American Cancer Society, the University of Colorado Cancer Center and community agencies.
Commission on Cancer and National Cancer Institute

The Cancer Center is accredited as an Approved Cancer Program by the American College of Surgeons Commission on Cancer. It is also a National Cancer Institute (NCI) designated Comprehensive Cancer Program.

Patient Visits
Over the last seven years, the number of patient visits to the Cancer Center and Infusion Center has steadily grown.

Survival
The following charts show the Cancer Center's five-year survival rates for three of the top types of cancer treated at UCCC. The Cancer Center's survival rates compare favorably to the State of Colorado's survival rates for these types of cancer.
